This Blogging Thing....

So, to be honest, I find the whole blogging thing stupid. I really do not think that anyone out there is that interested in the things that run through my head. It feels presumptuous. Yet, there is something compelling about sharing random tidbits about my day. And from my past blogging experience, I have discovered that I really like to go back and look through some of the stuff I have posted. And I suppose some of my extended family is also interested in what we have going on. I did keep a homeschool blog for a while. It is certainly not up to date since my last posting was nearly a year ago, we had another child during that time, and the kids' nicknames on said blog are no longer very fitting. I found blogging about just our homeschooling experiences a little restrictive, which is why I am trying out a new blog for everything our life entails.

So, I suppose I will start at ground one here and let you know a little about myself. I am almost 30 at this point, I have been married to my high school sweetheart for almost 12 years and together me and my husband have four adorable kidlets. For some sense of privacy, I like to use nicknames for my kids on such a public forum.

As for any other little snippets of information you might need...This is our second year homeschooling our kids. We just found it to be the best option for them at this time. We enjoy veggie gardening in the summer and going on family vacations when we can. I have too many hobbies.
